We exclusively use fibers of European origin to meet the highest safety and comfort standards in this highly sensitive area. Combined with our spunlace technology, these fibers result in high-quality, tear-resistant nonwovens that ensure optimal release of active substances.

Performance Characteristics of our Nonwovens for Oral Pouches:

Clean & Safe

The fibers are manufactured using an environmentally friendly production process. The entanglement through high-pressure water jets, without the addition of chemicals, ensures that the nonwoven fabric is thoroughly clean.

Gauzy & Tear-resistant

The isotropic fiber orientation of our nonwovens ensures high tear resistance even at low basis weights. This means that our nonwovens made from viscose, lyocell, flax, or hemp are extremely stable and reliable, even when wet.

Eco-friendly & Bio-degradable

Made from the natural raw material wood, cellulose fibers are biodegradable and free of plastics. We also process 100% flax and/or hemp fibers or blends with cellulose fibers.

Product Modifications for Oral Pouches:

  • weights range from 20 g/m²
  • various structures, from smooth to fine-hole, and/or binder concentrations enable controlled release of active ingredients to mucous membranes
  • different colors are available, ranging from pure white to beige by adding flax or hemp fibers and from black to other colors with the addition of colored viscose fibers
  • internal aftertreatment equipment enables the weldability of nonwoven layers on conventional pouch machines

  • individual roll packaging from 50 running meters up to a maximum roll diameter of 1.20 m
  • customized widths up to 2,000 mm
  • minimum order quantity of less than 50,000 m² possible
